Well, I have been a busy bee and have quite a bit of new work to show you soon, but for right now here’s a sneak peek. Over the last few weeks I’ve spent many an hour at the letterpress printing away. Check back soon for more work! -Lizzie Britton

Maybe it’s because Valentine’s Day is around the corner, or maybe it’s all the wedding invitations I have been working on, but love is definitely in the air! And Quarzo is one of the perfect typefaces to capture that woozy feeling. Quarzo is just so romantic, with its dramatic curls and elegant swooshes. I love that you can dress it up with all the flair (like I did above), or just keep it more modest with basic script. This lovely typeface is currently on sale here.  Keep up the good work, Manuel Eduardo Corradine and Sergio Ramírez! – Lizzie Britton

It was just too much fun designing Jessica and Danny’s Save the Date, and just too hard deciding on which Save the Date to show. I absolutely fell in love with our final two, so I decided to showcase both. The gorgeous photo by Red White and Green Photography of Jessica and Danny made it such a delight to design this festive Save the Date. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! – Lizzie Britton

I’ve always loved hand-drawn typefaces, but I never knew I had it in me until I worked at DCWV. Becoming a scrapbook designer allows me to draw everyday. I started to draw at the back of my moleskine book, just cute things or favorite quotes. From there, I started to become obsessed with hand-drawn lettering. I even went crazy and created a whole line, some of which you can see here. I just thought I’d share it with you. Hope you love ‘em!

It’s party time for me these days. And I believe no party should go without an invitation. Both these cards were for friends, and both were quick and fun. Just wanted to bring a little more flair to the get togethers! – Lizzie Britton

Well, it’s finally that time! And for the last Christmas Wrap of the season, what better to wrap to than “Christmas Rapping” by Kurtis Blow. This classic rap song pairs perfectly with my own personal presents that I wrapped this season: gold foiled stamped tags made by my own two hands, a theme of red and white polka dots and stripes, snipped holly from the yard, and of course, the classic kraft paper. Enjoy, and happy Christmas Eve! – Lizzie Britton
